Kyiv Tech Summit

Kyiv Tech Summit is a first-of-its-kind unique event. Our aim is to bring together some of the best developers, technology providers, designers, innovators, and product evangelists who are looking to solve tangible, on-the-ground issues to aid the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.

Our Goal

Build technology that makes war-time life easier and safer for Ukrainians and the world. Onboard Web2 talent into the Web3 digital working economy through existing Web3 communities.

Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24th February 2022, the situation has quickly become dire for millions of Ukrainians. Outside of the humanitarian crisis and military needs required by Ukraine, there is an unprecedented need for new tools and solutions to systemically respond to the new reality of russian war in Ukraine.

Kyiv Tech Summit will take place at a yet-to-be-disclosed secure location, with a focus on activating only the community already in close proximity, as well as to virtually enable the global community to collaborate in building technology that will empower the humanitarian aid efforts of tomorrow. We will include and onboard both technical and non-technical community members into Web3 and curate the hackathon bounties around making life within a warzone safer and more efficient for Ukrainians.

For safety and inclusion purposes, only participants local to Kyiv (and nearby proximity) are invited to join in-person. Everyone else: you can participate online - it’s a global hybrid event!

Hackathon

Prizes will be awarded, bounties available. Pre-existing projects AND new projects are allowed to be submitted. What’s most important is that the project is providing an impactful solution!

Kyiv Tech Summit (KTS) is a not-for-profit, community-driven, initiative.

Many of our partners are providing their services at a substantial discount or pro-bono, as the world understands the importance of this critical initiative

Kyiv Tech Summit will require some operational expenses to ensure the quality and safety of the event. Half of the sponsorship allocation will be allocated for hackathon bounties. The remaining sponsorship funds (after 50% bounties allocation and ops expenses) will be donated to help those directly impacted by the war. (A detailed financial and transparency report will be published shortly).

Kyiv Tech Summit will have global media outreach - both via Ukrainian and international media platforms, as well as influencers and bloggers. Of the networks we have already spoken to, 100% have confirmed their attendance.

Finally, we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all attendees, media, and staff throughout the event. (A detailed safety report will be published shortly).
